This afternoon we attended an "OFF" production of Mozart's Cossi Fan Tutti in the afternoon - - a FULL OPERA, sung in French, and performed by six performers, and a pianist, who was, essentially, the orchestra!
Occasionally, a violin, cello or flute stepped in to play some parts. Everyone, it seemed, did more than one role, with very minimal sets that were moved around by the actors themselves. Incredibly, they pulled it off. I was amazed by their virtuosity... and chutzpah!
